After arriving in the country, new City manager Manuel Pellegrini told the South African media that the door is open for their aspiring footballers.

“Most definitely. The door is open for players, to either join our academies, or grow from there, or even more, to be part of the senior teams.

“We will be looking at players who show commitment and the skills that we need,” said Pellegrini."
